Purchase Policy

At Streamline Sports Limited (referred to as "we," "us," or "our"), registered in England and Wales under company number 15697527, with our office at 3 Fowey Close, Macclesfield, England, SK10 3PU, our aim is to ensure a smooth and fair purchasing experience for you on getstreamline.org. This policy explains the terms and conditions that apply when you make a purchase through our platform.

1. Introduction

1.1 This Purchase Policy outlines the terms that apply to any purchases you make from Streamline. By purchasing, you also agree to our Terms of Use.

1.2 Streamline Sports Limited, trading as Streamline, is registered in England and Wales (company number 15697527).

1.3 We sell tickets and related products on behalf of swimming and sports event organisers, promoters, venues, clubs, and other third parties. “Tickets” here also include event entry unless otherwise specified.

1.4 Tickets are sold based on availability and the instructions from event organisers. Purchasing a ticket shows your interest in participating, but the organiser has the final say on whether your entry is accepted. Please refer to Clause 11 for details on rejections and withdrawals.

1.5 For some events, we offer different types of tickets and packages, including:

  • Early Bird: Discounted tickets for early entries. The organiser sets the price and may adjust it at any time.
  • Late Entry: Higher-priced tickets for entries submitted after the organiser’s deadline.
  • Spectator: Tickets for watching the event.
  • Poolside Passes: Tickets permitting entry to poolside for Coaches, Team Managers or Chaperones. These may carry additional requirements or checks for safeguarding.
  • Packages: Bundles that may include tickets, seating, or merchandise.

1.6 Any product or service we offer is referred to as "Items."

1.7 This policy does not apply to purchases made from third parties. Please contact them directly for any issues.

2. Contract

2.1 To purchase from Streamline, you must have an account, a valid credit/debit card, and meet the event’s criteria. If you don’t meet the event requirements, your entry may be rejected, and a refund might not be possible.

2.2 Your purchase is subject to this policy, the event’s terms, and the venue’s terms.

2.3 Your contract with us begins when we confirm your order and ends after the event.

2.4 All purchases are subject to card verification and payment collection. We may cancel your order if these checks fail.

2.5 Any attempt to buy items using unauthorised methods will result in cancellation without notice, and those items will be void.

2.6 We reserve the right to perform checks to prevent fraud and may request additional information. Orders we suspect of being fraudulent may be canceled.

3. Prices and Fees

3.1 All prices include VAT where applicable and are broken down as follows:

  • Sale Price: The price of the item.
  • Service Charge: Any per-item service fee.
  • Booking Fees: Any per-order handling fees.

3.2 We try to ensure accurate pricing, but if an error occurs, we’ll contact you to confirm or cancel your order. If we can’t reach you, we’ll cancel the order and issue a refund.

4. Delivery

4.1 Tickets are delivered electronically via email. Keep the confirmation email as proof of purchase and your order number.

5. Tickets

5.1 Tickets remain the property of the event organiser and can be withdrawn or access refused at any time. If this happens without any fault on your part, you’ll receive a refund (excluding Booking Fees).

5.2 Please check your tickets after purchase. Errors may not always be fixable or refundable.

6. Event Restrictions

6.1 Event restrictions (e.g., gender, club, age, times) are set by the organiser and enforced during the purchase process. If you bypass these restrictions, you won’t be eligible for a refund.

6.2 If you believe tickets were sold in error, contact the organiser immediately to resolve the issue.

7. Event Timings and Admissions

7.1 Event start times and schedules are subject to change by the organiser.

7.2 Tickets are sold with the organiser’s right to alter the event program due to unforeseen circumstances. No refund will be provided unless it’s a material change.

7.3 Admission is subject to venue terms, and certain items may be prohibited (e.g., mobile phones, pets, outside food/drink). unauthorised use of recording equipment is also prohibited.

7.4 The organiser can eject you from the venue for unacceptable behavior.

7.5 organisers reserve the right to refuse entry or remove individuals for safety reasons or behavior that may cause harm or disturbance.

8. Cancellations and Alterations

8.1 If an event is canceled, rescheduled, or materially altered, we’ll try to notify you, but it’s your responsibility to check for updates.

8.2 Cancellation: If an event is canceled, you’ll receive a refund (excluding Booking Fees).

8.3 Rescheduling: If you can’t attend a rescheduled event, you can get a refund (excluding Booking Fees) if you notify us by the specified deadline.

8.4 Material Alteration: If an event is materially altered, you can either reconfirm your order or cancel it for a refund (excluding Booking Fees).

8.6 Refunds will be made to the original payment method.

9. Entry Amendments

9.1 You can edit your entry before the withdrawal deadline set by the organiser, if allowed. Log in to your account to make changes.

9.2 Changes that don’t meet event conditions won’t be accepted, and no refunds will be given if your entry is rejected due to errors you made.

10. Your Right to Cancel

10.1 Tickets and packages cannot be canceled, exchanged, or refunded after purchase, except in the situations mentioned in Clause 8 or exceptional circumstances.

10.2 For exceptional circumstances (e.g., medical issues), contact the organiser directly.

11. Withdrawals and Rejections

11.1 organisers may reject entries due to over-subscription or failure to meet entry conditions.

11.2 Withdrawals may be accepted at the organiser’s discretion. Refer to the event conditions.

11.3 If you are rejected or withdraw according to the event’s conditions, you’ll receive a refund (excluding Booking Fees). Contact the organiser for any issues.

11.4 No refund will be given if you breach the organiser’s terms without permission.

11.5 Refunds will be made to the original payment method.

11.6 Some organisers may charge a fee for no-shows. Check the event conditions.

12. Limitation of Liability

12.1 Neither we nor the organisers are liable for any loss, injury, or damage unless caused by a breach of contract or negligence.

12.2 We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, such as travel or accommodation costs.

12.3 Our and the organiser’s liability is limited to the price you paid for the items (excluding Booking Fees).

12.4 Nothing in this policy limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.

13. Queries and Complaints

13.1 We’ll use the contact details you provided for any communication. Make sure they’re up to date.

13.2 For any queries or complaints, contact us with your order number.

13.3 Some complaints may take up to 28 days to resolve.

13.4 If a dispute arises, we’ll try to resolve it through negotiation. If unresolved, you may request mediation.

14. Governing Law

14.1 Event organisers and their affiliates may enforce these terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
